Welcome to Starcross. A realm as enchanting as it is perilous. The bard, Evangeline, tells a tale around a campfire about a realm steeped in myth and folklore. Mermaids swim off the coast, Jabberwocks lurk in the rivers, and a plague deadlier than the Black Death is spreading like wildfire. A little girl with the only cure is on the run. Who will find her first – a feisty con-woman, a wastrel prince, or an army sent to kill the infected. Three unlikely heroes could save the kingdom. But first they have to survive. If they should fail, Britannia will be lost. And heaven help the whole world if the plague finds a boat and sails to the edges of maps.
